It creates a visually appealing feature that improves the overall aesthetics of your outdoor area, enhancing the curb appeal and desirability of your home. Furthermore, a well-designed patio can be customized to suit your specific needs and preferences, providing a cozy and intimate space or a spacious area for hosting gatherings. With the right choice of materials, furniture, and landscaping elements, a high-quality patio becomes a sanctuary where you can unwind, socialize, and create lasting memories with family and friends.
Design and Planning: At this stage we will work with you to determine the design, dimensions, and layout of the concrete patio.
Site Preparation: Clear the designated area of any obstructions, debris, or vegetation. Level and compact the ground to create a stable base for the patio.
Formwork Installation: Set up forms along the edges of the patio to establish the desired shape and dimensions. These forms will contain the concrete during pouring.
Reinforcement Placement: If necessary, we will install steel reinforcement such as mesh or rebar within the formwork to enhance the patio's strength and minimize cracking.
Mixing and Pouring Concrete: Prepare the concrete mixture according to specifications, incorporating the right proportions of cement, aggregates, water, and additives. Pour the concrete into the formwork and distribute it evenly using rakes, shovels, and screeds.
Control Joint Cuts: Once the concrete is poured but still in its plastic state, control joint cuts are made. These are deliberate, straight-line cuts made on the surface of the concrete at predetermined intervals. Control joints help control cracking by providing relief points where the concrete can expand or contract.
Finishing: After the control joint cuts are made, the concrete surface is finished to achieve the desired texture and appearance. Techniques such as troweling, stamping, or brooming may be employed to create the desired finish. The edges are also formed and finished neatly.
Project completion: We want to make sure that you are 100% satisfied in our work. Before we leave a job site we will make sure that all of your questions are answered and you are completely comfortable with the work that was performed.
The biggest complement we can get from one of our clients is a good review and a referral. We genuinely care about everyone we do business with and take the time to make sure each customer feels like they are getting the highest quality service at a fair price.
We would like to thank all of our customers who have taken a little time out of their busy day to leave a comment about their experience with Excalibur.
Excalibur's Bryan Warman and crew planned and constructed a new outdoor entry area and side yard walkway at our Queen Anne home, including concrete debris removal, regrading, adding a retaining wall and crushed stone base, and bringing in expert cement masons to pour a new entry and sidewalk -- all while protecting an extensive irrigation and electrical lighting system. Completed project is attractive, safer and much more functional.
Was great working with Excalibur. Their crew was awesome, always asking if they were doing the job to my satisfaction. They came out and cleaned up 10 acres of overgrown property that you could barely walk through. Their mulching machinery is very impressive and highly effective. I plan to have them do more work for me in the future.

Bryan and his whole team was very helpful, fast and did a tremendous job. I think the driver went a little over our allotted 4 hours but don't tell the boss. I would highly recommend reaching out to Excalibur for any land clearing needs. Great Job!!!
